How to Play Klondike Solitaire

Klondike Solitaire is one of the new games originally published by Microsoft. Well, the game is new, the terms Klondike itself refers to something old. Klondike as a game is known in the year of 1900s when Alaskan miners liked to play the game in their spare time. So, how to play Klondike Solitaire? Is it really the same as the old game played by those miners? Here are the steps to play the game.

Place Cards Properly

The Klondike game is actually not really difficult to learn about. Even if you have never played the game before, you can just find it easy to understand just by watching someone else plays it in front of you. However, being able to play the game doesn’t mean that you will always win it. Yes, playing against the computer is often more frustrating than having another person as the opponent.

First of all, you can start it all by placing a card on your table. Then, you can place the other 6 cards upside down. One of the six cards mentioned above, mainly the first one, is then placed together with a card that is facing up. Add another upside-down card continuously to form a column until all cards are opened or facing up.

If you are following the right instruction, you must have seven cards. Not to forget, you must check also that you have a total of 24 cards on your hand. Sure, those cards are what to play.

Ace Cards

Second, what you need to do is to place all cards on 4 Ace different cards. The card can come out anytime and you must make 4 cards in order from Ace to King. When looking at it, place it on the side of other cards and start to add another one. Make sure to take a look that every column must be the same in terms of type and color.

Open Upside down Cards

If you use cards that are facing up, it means you can open upside-down cards. Just like the other Solitaire games, if you are successfully opening the bottom card, you can open a new basis by placing the king there.

You can also move the order of the cards from one base to another and it doesn’t depend on the length of the order. Meanwhile, to use the cards on your hand take the 3 upper cards and then upside them down. Remember that you can only use the highest card. Sure, if you have used it, you can use another card right under it. When it is over, take all the cards and start it again.

Klondike Solitaire is one of the most popular Solitaire series and played widely. Wish you have fun with your free time!
